New Domain Name
Hi guys, I have changed my domain name to something different, something smaller so its more easier to remember and find i guess and a little more convenient to me and some people so I have decided to change it.
So nothing is changed, just the domain name to drewahs.blogspot.com
Basically mucho easier to remember and a little more convenient for all of us :)
And also a new quote too I've posted as well, based on the book 'Art of War' That I have read a year ago. Thought it was a good to look back and post something about it, as it can be relevant in our lives and picked the quote that I have posted on the right hand side.

Cool Morning
Last Saturday, before I visited my Grandpa, I took some pictures while I got bored reading my book outside my house. Just shot them out of nowhere, Lol.
Also some pictures that I forgot to show before, like 2 weeks ago. I took some photos at my little brothers football game, sadly I didn't have my camera with me, so i really couldn't take good photos with my camera phone from a distance :( . So I took photos of the surroundings with my phone, trying to see what it could do. Apparently in my opinion, it succeeded. :)
Much Love
Last Sunday, I visited my Grandpa in San Antonio.. He was in the hospital, and sadly... My grandpa David was diagnosed with Mantle Cell Lymphoma. For those who don't know what it is, its basically cancer, more importantly, its on stage 4. I was also notified that he had a 50/50 chance of surviving because Mantle Cell is either has fast or slow growth. If its fast, then most likely he will die. :'( But if its slow, then David has a chance to survive. He is currently taking chemo, I believe he will be out of the hospital tomorrow, but I'm not sure.
I took some pictures, only chose 2 to show, but after I took them, I edited them to show importance and emphasis. I love my Grandpa, much love to him.

Re-edited!
This old boring photo is done now, I've re-edited the photo where it shows some length, value, some shine and vibrant. I've kinda pumped up the temperature, contrast, saturation, vinginetting, vibrance to redo this photo I've took.
And it turned into this! :)
Not Really Sure..... : /
These photos were taken in part of an assignment to freeze motion to experiment in 3 categories; general movement as shown above, across movement, and toward movement and panning motion which i have not been so successful. But it is a learning process i guess. What I mean is to have the subject in motion but have the background blurry, or in motion.
Balloon Drop
Hi guys, I'm back, now with awesome balloon drop pictures which are totally awesome to do. Although it can be difficult if you don't know what to do or don't have any assistance into doing it, but it is fun to do. Some photos that i took don't wasn't in focus because I am not used with the settings and first time thing with high shutter speed settings.
This one was my favorite, I took the photo, then added a little grain and added vignetting to emphasize on the photo. My ISO was 1600, f/5.6 and shutter speed at 1/2000 sec. As the shutter speed gets faster, the light sensitivity has to be fixed so it isn't dark, so I pumped up the ISO. The F stop is how it is for its field of view.

STRAWBERRIES!!
Sup Guys, Drew here, I got some strawberries to show y'all.
So these are the strawberries I shot and took in the weekend, and I was supposed to take photos with them at certain angles or do something with them that made it interesting in a way. I took a total of around 40 but I going to show like 10, or 12, something around that number so....
Hold on, I got the photos, its just that I am trying to figure this out on how to show you guys.

Update Time!! (9/29/15)
Hey Guys, sorry for the inconvenience of me not being active in my blog because I was very busy in my school work that I couldn't post anything and stuff, so sorry guys, I will post more in the mere future.
But enough of that, My trip to Juarez, Mexico was amazing. I mean it was very interesting to see a different side to society compared to ours and to see the people of Juarez live their lives differently than us. Their currency, their culture, their architecture is different and all very unique, in my opinion. The people there were very friendly, although I couldn't speak to them directly, I had to speak through my Uncle who lived in Juarez, he also didn't know English as well, he knew most of the stuff I was saying, also I had to use hand gestures to make my Uncle and Cousins that I just met 2 weeks ago.
I knew some Spanish words that aided me to conversation since I took Spanish I. Also, one thing I wanted to mention was the currency and exchange rate was all very new to me as I was never very familiar to exchange rates among foreign currency's and the rate of ours, or American Dollars, where I live. So the exchange rate of one American Dollar is 16 pesos, like when I went to a Restaurant, it wasn't fancy, it was less than average. I mean, I'm not trying to insult the people of Juarez or Mexico in a whole, I understand, it is just how it is, the lifestyle of different towards ours.
Sorry again, I got off topic, so I went to a restaurant, the final total was like around 200, 300 pesos, so at the time, we didn't have any pesos to pay the bill. But luckily, they still accepted dollars, then my father told me the rate was the total divided by 16, or 16.5, then what ever is the quotient, is the amount of peso owed.
About the photos okay, I am not allowed to show the photos I took while on the trip, because some photos are to be used in the ATPI(Association of Texas Photography Instructors) competition to see who got the best photos in a certain category and you get awards, also you get recognition with your work. But in the meantime, I had another project that I am just getting done, and it is not related to ATPI in anyway so I can post photos of it in this blog.

Introduction Of Me
Hey there, My name is Drew and I have began Commercial Photography and ready to learn new things about cameras and the art of taking great pictures in photography. Although I haven't taken a great photo yet, but I'm proud to say I'm ready to learn whatever comes my way and any challenges will face my way.
Also, I'm a hard worker and is willing to work to get the photos I need and make sure the final product is MINT. Or as in "Perfect".
Although I am new to the blogging world, I'll bet that I will learn along the road and deliver what's good, put away what's bad and continue. Just continue, learning, absorbing experience and post stuff about photography and what I've learn when I go to places and take pictures of things that might reflect on what we do in the world.
Tomorrow, on Friday Sept. 18th, I will travel to El Paso to meet up with some relatives, then go south of the border to go have a big family reunion. My Father said we would go around and visit a deaf school in Mexico, sorry(I didn't say where we are going in Mexico) we are going down to Juarez, Mexico. Maybe also going down to visit poor areas of Juarez and see if, or how much of it is of a 3rd World down there. Me and my family is bunking up with my Dad's Uncle in around a giant hill or mountain kind of thing.
Also my dad told me the bathroom at his uncle's house is outside the actual house. WOW....
That actually surprises me as I am not used to that kind of operation, or bathroom kind of thing. I hope its kind of like a porto potty kind of thing, but cleaner, also not in the open too.
Well, to wrap it up, I'm going to come back Monday I believe and hopefully I can upload some photos for you guys to see, also maybe to experience something hopefully, if I do deliver some good photos though.
